A creative membership for watercolor artists to learn, paint, connect, and grow together.

My Watercolor Circle was created to help watercolor become a regular and enjoyable part of your life again.

Each month we gather to paint together, learn new techniques, ask questions, and continue growing our watercolor skills in a warm and supportive environment.

𝗫 No pressure

𝗫 No perfection

𝗫 No falling behind

✓ Just a welcoming place to keep painting.

Learn with me every month.

Paint alongside me during a brand-new live Zoom watercolor workshop each month.

Ask questions, watch every brushstroke, and enjoy the experience of painting together from the comfort of your own home.

Can't attend live?

Every workshop is recorded so you can paint whenever it fits your schedule.

Build confidence through encouraging feedback.

One of the most valuable parts of Watercolor Circle is our live Zoom feedback sessions.

These are warm, supportive group sessions where I offer helpful guidance on members' paintings while everyone learns together.

We'll celebrate what's working, gently work through challenges, and discover new ways to make each painting even stronger.

You'll learn just as much from watching others as you will from having your own work discussed.

Oct Live Workshop

My Vermont View: Painting the colors of fall in watercolor

Saturday, Oct 24
10:00am–12:00pm (EST)

From my home in Vermont, I have this wonderful view of the mountains, the valley, and layers upon layers of trees stretching into the distance. I’ve photographed it, studied it, and painted it many times over the years—and in every season.

There’s something about those autumn colors that makes me want to exaggerate everything. Watercolor gives me the freedom to play with all of it!

This month we'll explore simple techniques for painting an expressive watercolor landscape in a relaxed, encouraging workshop designed to build your confidence one brushstroke at a time.

Join me live on Zoom, ask questions as we paint together, and enjoy a wonderful morning of creativity.

Can't attend live?

No problem. Every workshop is recorded and added to the growing replay library for members to enjoy anytime.

Never wonder what to paint next.

Every month you'll receive a brand-new project complete with:

  • Live instruction

  • Replay video

  • Reference photos

  • Contour drawings

  • Supply list

Everything is ready for you.

Simply gather your supplies and enjoy painting.

Learn at your own pace.

There is no falling behind inside Watercolor Circle.

Life gets busy.

That's why every workshop becomes part of your growing Replay Library, allowing you to paint whenever inspiration strikes.

No deadlines.

No pressure.

No guilt.

Just paint when you're ready.

It's built by painting consistently.

Meet Your Instructor

Hi, I'm Lorraine.

I've spent many years teaching watercolor, and one thing I've learned is that most artists don't need more pressure.

They need more encouragement.

My goal is to help you enjoy watercolor, build confidence, and continue growing your skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Whether you're just getting started or returning to watercolor after years away, I'd be honored to paint alongside you.

Give yourself the gift of regular creative time, gentle guidance, and a welcoming place to continue growing your watercolor skills.

I look forward to welcoming you into my Watercolor Circle.

Learn my signature watercolor techniques.

Throughout the year you'll learn the techniques that have become the foundation of my own work, including:

  • Negative Painting

  • Wet-in-Wet

  • Color Mixing

  • Layering

  • Creating Soft Edges

  • Composition

  • Simplifying Complex Subjects

  • Building Light and Depth

Each lesson is designed to help you paint with greater confidence and freedom.

Feel supported every step of the way.

My greatest joy isn't simply teaching watercolor.

It's helping artists believe in themselves.

Inside Watercolor Circle you'll always find encouragement, gentle guidance, and a place where questions are welcomed.

No matter where you are on your watercolor journey, you'll never have to figure it out alone.
